We’ve updated our encrypted paste service at zerobin.hbcom.info to PrivateBin 2.1.1.

If you use it to send passwords, logs, or sensitive snippets, you already know the core premise: everything is encrypted directly in your browser before it ever hits our servers, so nobody in between can read it.

Here is what’s new and improved in this release:

  • Stronger security: Hardened SVG image previews and stricter Markdown sanitization to eliminate script-injection risks, alongside tighter request-size limits.

  • Smoother paste creation: Fixed quirks around password prompts, comment syncing, and notification delivery.

  • UI and language polish: Updated translations and minor styling fixes across mobile and desktop browsers.

The update is already deployed—no changes or account actions required on your end. You can generate a new paste anytime at https://zerobin.hbcom.info.
