And I say thanks HB too, because this answer is easier to find here than on the VLC pages :p VLC is very very good at what it does though so I can forgive some little quirks or obscure tickboxes!

I have just made it so i have avril lavigne playing on my desktop constantly but everytime the video changes VLC pops up and its highly annoying is there anyway to stop that?
